Tax incentives should be created by the federal govt so that companies involved in enterprises that offer solutions to lowering greenhouse emissions do not rely too heavily upon the political system to get it right.
Incentives similar to those seen in Ozzy film and forestry industries, could kick start any number of viable projects, and would be one way of diffusing this perception that the onus to fix this problem relies vicariously upon any particular govt of the time.
Investing in shares of companies the likes of wec and esi for example, should attract a capital discount or offset and or a carbon trading discount or offset of some description.
