    Bendigo, seriously... In my first 100% correct comment, I said the chance of finding oil was 79%... (even though we have already drilled), that is the first point. You must concede this is true.

    Secondly, let me put it this way, if you have finite square meters, and there is oil under this area, (which we know from petroleum seepage) every time you drill you reduce this area. For example, if you have 2sqm of area and there was oil under it, and you drill a whole 1sqm hole and don't find oil... just take a guess what will happen if you drill a hole in the next 1sqm.....

    Therefore, the same is true when you expand this analogy to PEP-11 which simply has more square metres than my analogy.

    If it was mutually exclusive, then you would have to be drilling a whole different permit, however we are not talking about drilling a different permit, we are talking about drilling the same permit.

    And please don't argue Seaclem and Baleen are mutually exclusive, that is just semantics. Because this whole thread was always referring to PEP-11 as a whole.

    And no. This is year 7 maths.
