War in yemen, proxy war in Syria, tension with Iran across Straits of Hormuz , border with Iraq. Recent drone attack on oil facilites
That goeoploitical risk attracts a discount for foolhardy LT investors willing to invest.
Not to mention internal stability needing iron fist to ensure compliance.
