A big problem Browns JV has is the separation of the U from the rest at corporate level. This wont be a problem if CMR becomes HNC subsidiary even with us as minority shareholders.

IMO Only way GT would put so much of his on the line is if he already anticipates his exit path and that for mine would be later takeout by HNC.

We are at spec valuations now and on the shark table but with a deal we cant refuse cos alternative is it is allowed to fold and only bidders for the plant would be the JV partner who would swallow it up first and bid for the rest of the comapny holding all the ground at even lower levels.

In a way GT is keeping HNC "honest" and after all wasnt his fault market crunched us down with the help of the downrampers and short sellers who have done a grand job in here(?)

CMR should never have been allowed to fall under 110 for mine ...... book value + the other bits now conveniently put aside. So thats my "punt" and at a time when I see resources bottoming out and "D" primary rally set to begin some time mid year .... so now is the time to pirate it whether at the corporate level or the private level IMO.

My first probe was 1.5. Second will be at 23+ then third fourth and fifth later as I can see the gameplan unfold and confidence increase. SP shouldave jumped straight to about 28-32 on this announcement ... and maybe it still will ahead of the EGM (???)
