I woke up to tune into the thread when the decision was being announced. It was a fun ride, and Meso did really well preparing for the meeting, anticipating questions and convincing the panel.

Some posters here are being a bit harsh on the panel. It's their job to scrutinise, and some of them have narrow fields of expertise, so they are right to question everything.

Dr Hallibi isn't a muppet, the onus is on MSB to convince her about the doubts of the FDA, they did that, and she changed her mind. She seemed perfectly reasonable, and I was happy to see the process looked like a really fair and a-political affair to getting the drug approved. There were some posters claiming that various panel members were paid off by big pharma... that's the kind of paranoid talk that throws cold water ont he approvals processes around the world like this that make medicine safe and effective for use. ALSO... if you want to be selfish, it makes it harder for competitors to join this space now that Mesoblast has a product on the verge of approval.

Well done to MSB and to the army of informed posters who read everything and broke down the documents and meeting to give rational advice to investors over the last few days on likely outcomes. There has been some quality postings in the last 3 days from a lot of people, and you all deserve your profits when market opens and the shares unlock from the halt!
