This pandemic has been a serious topic at home with my RN wife who works on the frontline with aged care patients - what MSB debated today was for its remestemcel-L product, a candidate treatment for paediatric steroid-resistance acute graft versus host disease (paediatric SR-aGvHD) and got the tick, this is fantastic news for kids but not the solution to Covid-19 as I think many SP buyers jumped on board based on rumour, it's not a vaccine and we may never find one as this bug is viral & mutates.

My understanding of Mesoblast is their extraordinary vision of what Stemcell technology will bring to those who face death in ICU's wards on ventilators, wombat777 pointed out earlier around 36% of people that end up in the ICU on ventilators with Acute Respiratory Distress {ARDS} caused by COVID will die & if Mesoblast's allogeneic stemcell product is approved by the FDA soon it should significantly reduce that mortality rate.

So we offer a treatment - not a cure

As for their other developments, with the phase 3 readouts of Heart Failure and Chronic Lower Back Pain trials underway (hopefully by end Sep) our investment in Mesoblast is sound & solid moving forward no matter what the financial manipulators try to do.
