Let's face it people read the AFR in the absence of a mainstream alternative, so he has a mandate to influence.
If you want a little hack, when you load up an AFR page on your web browser immediately hit the stop button just as the site is loading and you can dodge the paywall. Takes a few turns to perfect but once you've figured it out you're sweet. Treat it as a silent little protest for the rubbish they have continually posted on this life saving treatment
