Good summation, going by the definition of inflation defined by the likes of our RBA.
Inflation is an increase in the level of prices of the goods and services that households buy. It is measured as the rate of change of those prices. Typically, prices rise over time, but prices can also fall (a situation called deflation).
Can it be argued that there is already inflation as witnessed by the US sharemarket, the extra cash electronically pumped into the market has resulted in the inflation of share prices beyond what is reasonably expected. Is inflation hidden in plain sight?
