I did not see the picture of that poor baby. But this is a very emotive issue and obviously the photo was used with the full consent and approval of the parents. Proud of them! This no doubt elicited a very strong emotional response in at least some if not most of the panel. Which is why it was produced I assume. Seeing suffering and dying invokes a raw response. It is unpleasant, extremely upsetting but it is reality. There is pain, suffering and sorrow all around us. Sometimes I feel I cannot bear to watch the news, other times I feel it is a sign of respect to observe and empathise with others suffering, rather than turn the other cheek. That babies photo may be remembered as one of the many steps towards the approval. Respect to the parents.
