Even though Buffet is not involved in the day to day running, he's left that to his prodigies, its hard to believe that one of the greatest investors of the past 100 years, would not be involved in the strategic decision to sell down major traditional assets and buy the asset he has a long history of ridiculing as an investment. A diametrically opposed position to his long term investing philosophy! Why?
