Doing a bit of reading on secondary viral induced FSGS as a question in my head is if HIV & other viruses can cause FSGS, is this induced by SARS-COV2, with Acute kidney injury being a known cause of death in severely unwell patients?
It looks like COVID-19 may induce FSGS in patients with genetic risk factors (diagnosed on biopsy). Anyway a couple of interesting case studies below:
