I too have some skin in the game. I grew up in apartheid South Africa and subject to the best and worst in humanity that these situations can bring out in us. I also know that life in the USA isn't a bed of roses if you have the wrong skin pigment or were born on the wrong side of tracks.
It's too easy to be judgemental towards those who become frustrated and angry as a result of being marginalised.
