Most of the examples demonstrate that it costs just shy of 1% per day to keep a CFD open and closing it the next day. That to me seems pretty reasonable for the type of product it is. Trent placed a snipet showing his gold investment was now approx $28k a few weeks back after I asked how on earth his average short could remotely be over even $1,700 whilst original position of $15k was done in the $1,500's or even below??? I can't remember as he has been building on that short from last year??? Again if he was building on the short as he had been posting every time from $1,500 to $1,900 I still can't see how a $28k position now would get him an average that he has posted. The maths does not support the narrative. So at 28k now invested @ approx even a 0.05% fee per day just to be kind. I can't see how any profit would be ever achieved. Trent are you able to post a summary of the fees here.

thanks, yes i took the screenshot as it seemed odd because he has been posting that he is shorting for months and months, and always he is not closing but "adding to his position"... but i dont gamble needlessly on options so dont know the fees involved myself . honestly i hope its all a paper account for his sake, as 28k shorted at average position $1811 seems like alot of red
