Foley is a nice guy, but has made a lot of enemies outside cto, so you are probably right that his presence on the board attracts a lot of criticism, and suppresses the share price.
I believe he is up for re-election this year, and that there is a move to vote him out... but some things first:
1. Share price needs to less than ~$1 by AGM in Nov, else there is likely to be too much support from his tight knit band of family/friends.
2. there needs to be an experienced qualified replacement that doesn't have enemies! Maybe Chris Towsey, Chief Operating Officer, who basically runs the mine.
