Schiff sounds spot on to me.
History shows that 17 years of consolidation is the norm.
That makes 2017 approx, before the US escapes the mire that has swallowed them.
Any thoughts that the US can just leave this morass behind is wishful thinking.
The old highs could even be tested again, but there is no bull yet born that can escape the compound the US government has built around its financial system.
I do believe we will make headway earlier and like 1987 we may even come close to Dow levels at some stage.
