I tried to do that with PLS and i wasn't allocated all the shares that i applied for. It was scaled back if you sold shares before a certain time frame leading up to the capital raise. If this happens you may be realizing a capital loss, but i reinvested the unallocated portion into gold stocks, this will probably end up being fully subscribed.
