That may not be technically wrong, given if SWM does not sell any assets that could be a possible scenario.
However, the CEO and others at SWM have stated on numerous times in the media and releases that they are selling assets with a focus on selling non-significant revenue generating assets. This will be a key focus and provide shareholders real value as selling the investment portfolio and TR will prove a huge boon, as it will reduce debt without significantly cutting into revenue.
Previously, I have put SP estimates in too early, so will wait until the 25th of August to assess. However, I think it is safe to say we will see a re-rate of SWM carry on for the next 7 trading days whilst we wait for the strategic update. That we were up circa 10% on a day ASX was down supports this, as previously SWM has gone down with the market.
