Regarding if it's still worth it, It's one of those things where hindsight is king.

I usually like to adopt a major margin of safety (investing only where there is a significant gap between undervalued and fair value). Many people don't have a major margin of safety when investing in penny stocks - that really depends on your risk profile.

I think that major margin of safety is disappearing although sub 18c I still see FIJ as undervalued and worth while, although the risk does increase as that margin of safety falls.
