May be, may be not. One cannot judge of what goes on in the heart and mind of people when a season of darkness assails them. Reasons for suicide range from unbearable physical and psychological pains, shame, depression, sense of worthlessness, dishonor, despair, hopelessness, economic pressure, broken-heart, hopelessness, severe loss and grief, judgement and expectations from others, self-condemnation, the belief that others lives will be better once dead, sense of overresponsibility, etc...
Whatever the cause, we should always strive to understand what goes on in the life of the suicidal.
The end of someone's life to suicide is always sad whether we know them or not as we all have intrinsic value and something to contribute to the life of others.
