hmmmmm. There's the connection i was looking for and there is that name again - Chris Wells, who assisted in the promotion of the company.
A broker from Indian Ocean Capital. WTF ?

Am pleased to see a 249d calling for the removal of dir Bolivar and dir Mcleod as it did not seem appropriate for them to remain as directors after the termination of the Columbian deal. Should have resigned IMO
Particularly so in light of info contained in latest announcement
"There is also a SEVERE CONFLICT OF INTEREST at stake here because there appears to be a close relationship between them and the parties who are attempting to take control by removing the founding board without making a takeover offer to all shareholders. These parties include mr Chris Wells who is a broker at Indian Ocean Capital p/l and whos company stood to recieve 30m options had the Magdalena/Columbian deal proceed."
I think the phrase "severe conflict of interest" captures the moment.

What the hell is a broker from IOC doing pulling a board spill on one of his own corporate clients ? I would have thought this would be detrimental to the reputation of Indian Ocean Capital.
Are any of you guys IOC clients ? What are your thoughts given this new info ?

In light of the above it seems pretty clear that there is more going on here than at 1st glance. Would have to assume that Wells/Bluefind/Gander intend to revive the Columbian deal.
In whose interests will that be done ?
Not us shareholders I'd wager !!
    Self serving greed IMO
or simply a grab for cash ??

would like to hear the thoughts of others in light of this info
