"Are you trying to claim that early human kinship took the form of the modern nuclear family? and so thereby you can claim that the child's aunties in that Tomassello case should not have helped the missing child find her mother, being individualistic capitalist owners of course! Is that what you were thinking?"
Even though it was throw away BTW, I said nothing about early human kinship or nuclear families or any of your other economic/social theories.
That must come from you talking to yourself.
"Chimpanzee females (according to Tomassello cited above) have no need to point out helpful information to the child of another because it is not in their nature to do so, ..."
That's what I was saying. The question was about Tomassello ascribing human motives and judgement to animals regarding what is "helpful".
Animals that operate according to their nature, their environment and need to survive. Therefore to claim that the other Chimpanzees were not being "helpful" is Tomassello's opinion and in my opinion wrong.
In any case, all that stuff is irrelevant to the actual point raised about why and how Humans alone have the additional intellectual function.
A question which you seem to keep avoiding.
