Yes, it is rather an odd SPP. Yet, WAM must also know this. They probably have an agenda for offering this SPP, but, they (like everyone in this world) will only tell you what they want you to know. It is thus up to each and everyone of us to read between the lines and decide whether, in fact, it is a worthy and sound SPP to buy into.
For us, we will be buying into the upcoming Plenti (was Ratesetter) IPO, which, by the way, is being significantly invested in by the WAM group.
