    What I don't understand is, instead of simply granting permission to Waitsia only, why don't they let a percentage of any future developments (providing same benefit to Waitsia and WE and others) go to LNG and remaining percentage to be reserved for domestic use. The percentage could be reviewed as time goes on with consideration for supply and demand to ensure security of WA's domestic market. Wouldn't that guarantee domestic supply is fueled, while also guaranteeing a reliable market for developers, which in turn will encourage future gas exploration and development through to FID ... and even more jobs for WA, which seems to be the motivation of the Waitsia exemption.

    It just doesn't make sense to me, seems rushed without proper consultation, and I'm surprised that it could just happen like this in Australia. I had no thought of such sovereign risk being an influence to our investment here.
