How is the technology better than this group?

A friend sent me information on the Oura Ring. They make some bold claims on the quality of their sensors.

Why would cardieX's gold standard heart rate sensors matter if someone elses are only 2% worse?

Or is it the fact that gold standard technology will be used by massive partners? So although a competitor would have a similar product, they are selling WAY less.

Its also possible Oura are not a competitor because CardieX might provide a better sensor to them. CardieX are selling the sensor, not the smart devices.

Would love some seasoned people here to reply.
