Re: Communication, I think with new board appointment and impending senior management changes post merger, improved communication will eventuate. They are still trying to work out where they sit in the scheme of things (I believe) and will want their company to appear professional, forward thinking, confident etc - to do this the communication aspect has to improve - even if it is just to re-iterate what we already know, it's one strategy to attract new investors and SH's - it has to come across as a "complete package" - currently it does not but it remains early and really lets wait and judge at 6 and 12 months post merger.
Re October - it's really dependent on the results of the ongoing work with the Bard1 test kit - how these results are progressing - the rate of detection for false positive and false negatives etc. This would be in addition to further sales networks of the Sienna Diagnostic products - I am really not sure what the market expects in terms of this new merged entity, it;s hard to say, other than the obvious - will it's products will achieve commercialisation very soon and are sales of existing products are on target!
Given the nature of the people involved and their previous success in bringing biotech products commercial success, I think expectations are high - and they need to be. I have previously mentioned that the biotech space is crowded, and people are looking for game changers regularly, and the competition includes existing established companies who do not want to give up any income or sales.
The real advantage of the merger from my perspective is the diversification that this company is now able to demonstrate - it could now provide a suite of diagnostic products in the biotech sector - this allows for growth, revenue and some products to take a little longer to get established whilst revenue from existing products accounts for some revenue...anyway we shall wait, but it may be worth communicating directly with BD1 re communication updates, and they really need to upgrade their website IMHO, take care, stay well
