I have been following DRO since 2017 and bought in this year after the announcement they had won the EU Police competition. Commentators can make up any ranking they like in terms of where DRO sits among competitors, I waited 3 years for an answer, and if the EU Police rank them number 1 that’s good enough for me. It also provides a lot of market credibility going forward.
This is a spec stock and yes it could all still go pear shaped but we would not be buying at this price if it was an established entity. Building a reputation takes time, money and energy. It was not that long ago that DRO was a start up with a limited product range. They have worked hard over the last 3 years to develop product awareness and have wisely been taking feedback onboard to extend and improve their product offering also to fulfill the needs of agencies.
The information in the lead up to the cap raise was disappointing to say the least. However I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to see if there is indeed some very good reason for the extra cash that can not be disclosed. Another company I am in had a similar unexpected cash raise about a month ago, many holders were spitting their dummy about it, just like some holders on here, but everyone is singing the company’s praises now they are up 50% since then.
The fish are nibbling at the hook and we wait for the first big bite - hopefully.
