As one example on 'agricultural production', the Mildura (actually Merbein, Vic) to Port of Melbourne intermodal freight train in the last couple of months has reached its maximum length, so much so that an extra set of container wagons has been found for occasional trips from Sunraysia.
It used to only operate three nights a week but is now often running at least four nights a week, plus an extra train from Donald (north of Maryborough Vic) for extra loading that can't be attached there as it normally would be.
This is but one small snapshot as to how better rains have already seen a rise in agricultural production, although that's not to say worldwide demand isn't down, and logistical challenges/price concerns remain, due to Covid-19.
