Sorry Assailed, that is well beyond my experience. I have always used etrade / ANZ Investing platform to buy in and sell shares, or direct from the company in CRs. I have never sought advice as to good stocks or bad, just through my own research - there's only me to blame then. I am not sure who you should speak to in relation to shonky brokers - perhaps Fair Trading in your state / territory could advise you on who to complain to? I am sorry to hear you have been ripped off. It's never good to see your hard earned vanish. Hopefully some good will come soon to your holdings to restore your faith a bit. All the best.
