The point of voting isn't in winning or losing the EGM resolutions, it's in the sheer number of shareholders that are unhappy with the way the company is being run.
So do we just ignore what has been happening and say "Not worth continuing" - or do we say "At least we put our votes in and show them that the large majority of 3800 shareholders are VERY unhappy at the way things are being done and DON'T want more of the same?"
The way I see it, there is no excuse for apathy.....
Anyone who doesn't vote is saying they are happy for more of the same.
Unfortunately, it could be more of the same but bigger, as Global Investment Securities and related parties, Smyth's London friends, could easily secure 51% of CVI and REALLY go to town on it.
