shock, slash - just missing catastrophic, disastrous. I expect the journos have a list of buzzwords ranked by numbers. Loss = disaster; 60% profit downgrade = shock and slash; 80% profit downgrade = utter shock etc. And the quote from 'one investor' who was probably the journalist's brother in law.
Can't say I was shocked given the last six months, and I expect more profit downgrades to come across the board with other companies. The nice thing is that LEI is doing well given the climate and should get quite a few more contracts in the coming 12 months, especially with government infrastructure spending.
