Never have and never will buying is a totally individual decision.
Some years ago I told a very good friend whose financial situation I knew inside out to buy a couple of thousand dollars worth of BRN. We had both had had a couple reds. At our next meet up he told me he had bought $5,000 worth but went on to say on the basis of my recommendation he had convinced his daughter to do the same. I knew she could not afford to invest that much money.
I will never do that again red wine or not.
