the company has been surpassed by every other fintech in the last four years and has just rested on Jost’s laurels. it has not really got any more new people and IMHO has just relied on its “connections to the Morrison Government” to get beyond its legacy years. Poor product expansion, failing distribution models and fail to deal with the threat of regulation.
Not more much to say other than stagnating legacy payments company with a connections based mode, now being outed or about to be outed through the geopolitical risk of its legacy set up.
If you are saying the founder has moved on then the legacy is crumbling as the wider industry moves on IMHO.
