    I suspect the converters are counting on all the latent mine capacities being brought online once the price improves to keep the prices well below that cap. So they are happy to break contract in their favor now without fear of it bouncing back at them.

    I also suspect that in the current political environment it plays well in China to be tough on Oz producers if you can, and still supply the factories. I can't see ganfeng doing a prepayment now!
