PhatProfit - if I was able to borrow 5% of BHP from someone now at the current market price and held for 3 years, would I be up or down at that time? Obviously depends on what happens to resource prices and the share price in the next 3 years. Because I short a large chunk of the company doesn't mean to say I'll be in the money in 3 years at all.
