I forgot to mention that given VPG's standalone position and lower gearing and still sound economic fundamentals, it is more likely to pay dividends than CER at this stage, with the latter attached to the CNP saga and to a large extent influenced, if not controlled by the banking syndicate.
I would like to hear other thoughts of comparison between the two from folks here.
