key points:
- no other open cut mine globally has been subjected to the requirements SHH is being asked of. Globally Almost All other open cut mines have practiced storing waste above ground.
- all infrastructure is already in place and nothing else needs to be done.
- amending the proposal to convince EPA that above ground storage is safe and that their method is environmentally safe, whilst leaving the waste above ground and the mine unused is a waste of resource and absolutely pointless.
