I agree, her appointment seems a little nonsensical, given her lack of experience. One would think if they wanted to signal to the market that change is happening, they'd post a hot shot with a solid track record in the CEO's chair.
I don't know the history of WGX all that well, so it would be appreciated to hear other people's thoughts on this.
