There were plenty of articles saying that if Hersi does not win range may have to re-negotiate. Let's not jump the gun. Let's hear what new govt's position is. My view is with the current crisis and the price of oil there will not be to many co's falling over themselves to cut a deal. Range/AOI happen to be ready to go with a rig mobilised. That's got to be pretty enticing. Also, Farole's top priority is security. From what I have read he is also quite socialist. Education and health are big priorities. All pretty good things and what the Puntland people deserve. Being an ex finance minister I am sure he is well aware that security, health and education costs money. Farole seems to be quite intelligent. Hanging around for another 2 years for a deal that might not happen is probably not on his agenda.
