The sports betting market is about as competetitive as you can get. Off the top of my head there's Betfair, Betstar, Betchoice, sportsbet, Sportingbet, International All Sports, Luxbet, The TAB, Betezy, Racing Odds and Centrebet all offering markets on just about every sport you could bet on. If they're putting up false favourites all it means is that other chances in the market are over the odds. The constant references to Betfair during the cricket (James Packer has a 50% share in the Australian arm of Betfair) get a bit tiresome. I'm with Moly. I fancy my chances much more gambling than trading on the stockmarket.
