Really you need to have a genuine interest in what you are betting on. Every punter has losing streaks. If you don't like what you are doing you won't be able to stomach the losses. The advantage for the bookmaker/disadvantage for the punter is really very small: If you have a few accounts there is little if any disadvantage for the punter in terms of value. You've also got to be careful that you don't just start betting on everything, or start betting bigger than you can handle.
