Hmmm ... the 'Mideast Quartet' ... UN, EU, US and Russia ... are working overtime with the Arab League to bring this whole Israel-Palestine insanity to some conclusion.
Even the Arab League (22 states) put up the Arab Peace Initiative back in 2002 and again endorsed at the Riyadh Summit in 2007.
I am hoping the players hold firm and continue to declare HAMAS a terrorist organisation and continue economic and diplomatic sanctions against the organisation.
That Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (whose term officially ended 9 Jan 09) will stay as head and proceed with elections for Chairman and Legislative Council as promised in April 2009.
That Iran is brought to heal over is financial/military aid to HAMAS and other terrorist organisations.
