I believe ASICs recent poor performance , public criticism and internal friction would cause them to be much more apprehensive and cautious in the manner they deal with companies being investigated.
The thought of legal action would now be very much a last resort and only if they have substantial facts to back their claim, their recent apparent “shoot from the hip” approach and consequential outcomes would ensure that.
Does this work in ISXs favour? Who knows however you’d think that if they have nothing more than what ASX has presented they’d take the cautious approach and close the case... I’m certain they don’t want any further heat.
