I suspect they ordered less stock from the manufacturers as COVID hit, not expecting that they should have ordered more due to stimulus $$$, less public transport use & total overseas travel ban leading to more domestic trips to the beach or mountains etc.
Mining sector also a tailwind I think. Coopers tyres work well driving in remote areas with crappy roads.
So anyway, the inventory levels maybe lower than optimal / normal as at 30 June 2020. Pretty sure that’s being addressed now.
