alcoa kicked it of today, not a good start.....
The fourth-quarter net loss of $1.19 billion, or $1.49 a share, compares with net income of $632 million, or 75 cents, a year earlier, New York-based Alcoa said today in a statement. The loss excluding some items was 28 cents a share, the company said. The average estimate in a Bloomberg survey of 14 analysts was for a per-share loss of 5 cents. Sales fell 19 percent to $5.69 billion.
