Just as a basic, it uses cloud technology for over the air (internet magic) telemetrics for cars.

Apologies that it is more 5G focused but it does kind of describe what some telemetrics that need to be transmitted rapidly are.
Just like Josh1996 and Burge13 mentioned; this technology could easily be used for insurance purposes and driver tracking.
