Thanks for the posting (yet again). To be honest I was thinking of it purely from the pysological point that you raised.

I'm only just getting used to CommSec Iress (the pro-trading platform). Not that I trade every day as I am a Value Style Investor, but the information is very useful and for about $80 a month it's worth it(....and it may or may not be tax deductible so see your accountant for further information :-P).

To answer your question No I haven't been cought out by it because I'm not a chartist or a technician and I don't panic when it comes to money. The first I heard of BOT's was on this forum about a year ago and have learned a lot.

The cascading down and triggering stop losses etc obviously would account for a lot of snowballing that we are seeing on a lot of stocks. THey are clever.
