I agree with you that the US listing will have little effect on the ESG share price. A point you didn't mention is that in the US there are many good quality gas stocks at very low prices. This is the low hanging fruit for US investors in this market.
What will increase the ESG share price currently is an increase in the oil price or an increase in 2P.
On the 2p issue we had a good post from para on monday laying out the timetable.(from the info I suspect he bothered to ring the company and spoke to someone who knows.)
