Yes, healthcare already uses UV light a lot, but this has been shown to have greater efficacy. UV light is also potentially damaging to your eyes. But as you say, there are so many potential commercial applications- you could even add food preparation areas, offices, etc. to that list. Some clever marketing and the sales figures should speak for themselves.
