I have to admit to being a bit of a follower of Alex Grant, Vulcan’s DLE Technology Adviser. I love his inspirational and informative writing style.

I like the chart on Page 6 showing Germany’s Lithium battery supply chain. All steps show as active apart from (1) Lithium Deposit to concentrate and (2) Lithium Processing to Battery Chemical. Mmmm….. If only someone in Germany could deliver on those first two steps.

This chart clearly and simply shows the enormity of the impact VUL could have on completing the missing links on a full German lithium battery supply chain.

Oh yeah, check out the acknowledgements at the end of the doc for a couple of other familiar names ;-)
