When the big boys (Sportsbet, Draftkings etc.) don't want the TV rights deal (or don't offer a lot for these types of deals).. it makes me wonder.
Are they worth the advertising dollars? Do they already have 80% of the market and don't see the expenditure worth it?
For some reason investors assume this will lead to PBH dominating the US market, but it's one thing advertising and another holding the customer/attracting new customers.
It's similar to the AFL.. Sportsbet don't have this now, Pointsbet do. But they have enough of the market that they don't think they'll lose customers to Pointsbet and the advertising isn't worth it.
